1. Who we are
ITNetFix Australia ("ITNetFix", "we", "us" or "our") provides business IT support, managed IT services, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 and related technology services in Sydney, Australia. This policy describes how we handle personal information collected through our website, enquiries, social media lead forms and service relationships.
Contact: info@itnetfix.com.au | 1300 009 387.
2. Personal information we collect
Depending on your interaction with us, this may include your name, business name, job role, work email, telephone number, business location, number of employees, IT support requirements, enquiry details, correspondence, service and billing information, and technical information relevant to services you request.
When we provide IT services, we may also encounter account identifiers, device information, security logs and other information within a customer's systems. The handling of customer-managed information may also be governed by our service agreements and customer instructions.
3. How we collect information
We may collect information when you contact us by phone or email, complete a website enquiry, submit a Facebook or Instagram lead form, request an IT Health Check, meet with our team, or engage our services. We may also receive relevant information from an authorised representative of your organisation or through technology platforms used to deliver our services.
4. Why we use information
- Respond to enquiries and arrange consultations or assessments.
- Confirm eligibility and scope for promotional offers.
- Provide, support, secure and administer contracted IT services.
- Prepare proposals, manage customer relationships and billing.
- Improve our website, service quality and customer communications.
- Meet applicable legal obligations, investigate incidents and protect our systems.
- Send service information or marketing communications where permitted, subject to your choices.
5. Free Business IT Health Check and Meta lead forms
If you request a Free 15-Point Business IT Health Check through a Facebook or Instagram form, we may receive your name, work email, phone number, business name, employee-size range and selected IT concerns. We use these details to assess the enquiry, confirm offer eligibility, contact you, agree on the assessment scope and provide relevant recommendations.
Submitting a form does not automatically enrol you in paid services. The assessment is preliminary and its scope will be agreed before work begins. Meta may separately process information under its own privacy terms.
7. Overseas service providers and disclosures
Some cloud, communication, social media or technical service providers may store or process information outside Australia. The countries involved depend on the particular providers and their service arrangements. Contact us if you would like further information about the providers relevant to your enquiry or service.
8. Security and retention
We aim to protect personal information using safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including access controls and other organisational and technical security measures. No online transmission or storage method is completely risk-free.
We retain information for as long as reasonably required for the purposes described in this policy and applicable legal, accounting or contractual requirements. When no longer needed, information is deleted or de-identified where appropriate and lawful.
10. Marketing and your choices
We may contact you about the enquiry or service you requested. Where permitted by law, we may also send relevant business communications. You can ask us to stop promotional communications by using any unsubscribe option provided or emailing info@itnetfix.com.au. We may still send essential service or transaction messages.
11. Access and correction
You may contact us to request access to personal information we hold about you or to ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. We may need to verify your identity and may be unable to provide certain information where a lawful exception applies. Email info@itnetfix.com.au with the subject “Privacy request”.
12. Privacy questions and complaints
If you have a privacy concern or complaint, email info@itnetfix.com.au with details of the issue and how we can contact you. We will review the matter, may request further information and will respond within a reasonable time. If you are dissatisfied and the Australian Privacy Act applies to the matter, you may be able to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, legal requirements or information-handling practices. The current version will be published on this page with its last-updated date.
